Cotswold Countryside

Thank you so much for organising our bike tour in the Cotswolds and for making our weeked so memorable. It was a great way to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary - and see the lovely area too!

A million thanks for your gracious hospitality. We had a fabulous time. I wouldn't consider booking with any other bike company. In fact, I suggest you expand your operation to include tours all over England!  (I am deadly serious).

Cotswold Country Cycles provides the perfect setting and itinerary for the athletic biker who wants to strike out on his or her own rather than follow along with a large group. The maps and directions provided are very clear and accurate and tour director -Julia Jones (also recommended by Rick Steeves) is most accommodating and flexible. She has selected excellent places to stay along the cycling routes especially in Chipping Campden, Winchcombe and Northleach. I enjoyed the pubs, people and the food immensely.

Thank you very much, the planning and directions were great and included a great variety of scenery and country life. The accomodation was great, so were the pubs! and we enjoyed a relaxing stress free break. I would recommend the tour to everyone.

The kids got a bit fussy on some of those major hills but did work up their appetites. The countryside is not to be missed...  I particularly am fond of the day to the Slaughters with the lovely leisurely lunch in the garden at Lords of the Manor (or whatever the name). Indulgent... which is my favorite kind of memory. Proud of myself for making most of the hills on bike (which was not the case for the kids), changing out that tire, not getting us too lost... that time arguing outside lovely little thatched roof cottage as to correct direction which then  inspired the owner to come out and kindly give us the way to go... The kids liked best the evenings in the pubs and your coke apparently is something else over there. Thanks again so much.

Thank you for your service in those days.
It was so wonderful trip, and I feel it from bottom of my heart.

We had a wonderful time in the Cotswolds. We probably bored your husband to tears with all the details of our excursions while he was taking us back to the train station in Moreton-in-Marsh. Our train was about 25 minutes late and he insisted on staying at the station to be sure we got on, even though we had told him that he could leave before the train came. That small attention to making sure that we were taken care of was consistent with our entire experience in our dealings with your business.

The bikes worked out very well. After all of the flat biking we had just done in the Netherlands, we were glad for every gear on your bikes but we really enjoyed the beautiful rolling countryside.

We enjoyed seeing Hidcote Manor, Snowshill Manor, the Abbey ruins and Sudeley Castle. At Sudeley Castle, they did actually have an interesting and extensive 1.5 hour tour of the inside of the castle including the personal residences which we'd recommend highly.

Your written instructions were most helpful in our touring and we found getting around very easy.

The accomodations were great. We enjoyed the owners and our room at the bed and breakfast in Chipping Campden; they were very friendly.

We appreciated your prompt and helpful assistance throughout the process from start to finish and particularly liked the tea and scones with jam and clotted cream in your kitchen when we first arrived. We'd recommend your services to anyone touring in the Cotswolds!

We had a wonderful time on the bicycles, and acknowledge that the cycling was probably the most memorable part of our trip. We realize in retrospect that the bicycles were extremely comfortable, and the accomodations were excellent. The countryside was beautiful, the towns were wonderful, and your support and directions were excellent. We really have nothing but praise for you and your company and support. We would love to do another trip with you in the future, only a longer time and distance. We will keep you in our thoughts.

Thank you again for your hospitality and the extra care we received with the late arrival of our baggage.
